I like a nice manicure but cannot afford a salon & people always ask me what I do so here is the trick..Keep in mind I am a commercial painter/cleaner & my hands go through a lot

1. Put 2 light coats on & put your nails in ice water for a few minutes after each coat to set or use a setting spray..Sally's Beauty Supply has a couple of great brands that are inexpensive

2. Always always apply a top coat right afterwards & repeat nails in ice water for a few minutes..Within 45 minutes your nails are perfect & will last all week + allow for end touch ups if they grow fast like mine do & re-apply the top coat also

3. Once you open a polish use it within 3 months so do your toes the same as fingers

I use everything from LA Colors to Julep & it costs me about $2 a month for a continuous perfect mani/pedi

Gotta love talk to text Susan lol. I never tried putting my hands in cold water. I'm definitely going to take your recommendation I have very thin nails they break easily. When they are painted be are a bit stronger and don't break as fast

The best polish I know of for thin nails is Sally Hansen..Lots of pretty colors & very durable..I also use retinol to eliminate cuticles too..works great & very in expensive..

Yes it works..I put it on at night most days until gone then a few times a week after that to keep them away as I file my "claws" a lot..lol..Don't get it on your nails though..I use a Q-Tip..My younger sister has very thin nails also & she uses Trustfund & Sally Hansen
