Description

The listing, 30 Silver Plate Wire Guard Crimps ... make your Jewelry PERFECTLY finished! has ended.

Get it NOW for 30 of these silver plate wire guards and crimps. If they do not end Get it Now, winner receives 10 (five pair). My Get it Now is about what you'd pay for a $3 gift card on Listia, a nice bargain with FREE US shipping!

These will add a wonderful professional finish to your jewelry. Use them at the end of a necklace or bracelet to attach the string to your jump ring or clasp (see photos please) with a clean, professional finish! Plus, they really hold your wire in place ... no falling apart after you crimp!

Please see the photos to see how these work. They are intended to use with regular beading wire like Soft Flex (my favorite), Beadalon, etc. I'm sure they also work with Tigertail or other "plastic" beading wire but you will still need to be careful not to cut the wire as you crimp. Metal wires (like Soft Flex and Beadalon) will not break when crimped.

I included lots of photos made with the beads and findings I have on Listia ...search natahoa to see a wonderful selection including:
* sterling and silver plate earrings wires
* headpins (with balls and flathead)
* jump rings
* silver and stardust beads in various sizes
* my WILD (and wildly popular) poodle curclicue beads, and of course
* my super popular silver tube beads (last photo)

EVERYTHING you need to help you make fun, gorgeous and high-end jewelry. My other listings also showcase many of my designs, which you are MOST welcome to copy or use for inspiration!

Free US shipping.

Shipping to Canada DOUBLED. Canadian buyers must send me $2 via Paypal (only) per package (regardless of how many items you win). I'm so sorry!

I ship on Tuesdays after my listings end Sunday and Monday nights ~~ check them out for some possible GREAT bargains! To see all my listings, simply type in natahoa to the search box and use the drop-down menu to list them "ending soonest."

Please do not ask me to fan you. If I'm a fan, you don't have to ask.

what are the little pinching metal things called that you pinch the wires closed with, after you use these to run the wire through?

Those are called crimps. You can buy simple little crimps, but these wire guards let you crimp both ends, and use the loop to protect the beading wire from fraying or breaking through. Usually you use them to attach a clasp, but they are also good for pendants, and some people use them in creative ways to make multi-dangle earrings. Look at all the photos, shows you how they work.

Do you ever list the fasteners in picture #7

I have some lots of toggle clasps I can list. I'll try to get those online in the next few days so you can win some of them and I can ship them with the spiral tubes you won last night, thanks!

I have a bunch of listings ending this weekend that do not have Get it Now, so you might get a few nice bargains if you want to bid on any of them. Just search natahoa and list them "ending soonest" to find them. To see only my beads and findings, click on the Arts & Crafts category on the search page.

I don't have any of those type of clasps, but I actually DO have a bunch of toggle clasps to list. I'll try to get those online in the next few days.

Do you have a bunch of crimps to offer in a low gin like this one?
Mar 17th, 2012 at 2:43:18 PM PDT by

The lowest GIN I can offer is 2,000 credits (Listia's rules, not mine). Tell ya what, if you win any of my other listings this weekend I'll swap for an appropriate number of these. Just remind me when you win and send me your address that you want to swap for the wire guard crimps.

All my listings end Sunday and Monday nights. To see them, search natahoa and list them "ending soonest" to see what's ending at the top of the list. To see only beads and findings, specify the Arts & Crafts category, but if you win any of my Euro charm listings (which are in the Jewelry category) I'll swap you for these crimps ... i.e. doesn't matter which type of listing you win, I can swap for you.

i am very uninformed...do you use these instead of jump rings? I have never worked with these. Need a p-butter fixed.:)

Yes, you can use these instead of jump rings to attach your clasps. It allows you to double crimp the beading wire, and looks good too (although jump rings look good also). However, these are not large enough to replace the jump ring AS the clasp (i.e. for a hook, unless the hook is pretty small). I think you also could use these to create dangle earrings, pendants or elaborate necklace designs, but I've never tried it!
