Works great! Just needs some batteries (2 AA) My kids loved this toy... It still has a lot of play left in it! I hope this makes another kid very happy! :)

Yes, it plays music,animals sounds,etc. all kinds of jungle noises. My daughter got this as a gift when she was 8 months and she loved it then and still played with it when she was 3! My 16 month old loved it too! So, she is the perfect age for it! Just remember it needs some batteries.
