I have a VGA graphics card, if I install this adapter, I can use DVI output?

I'm a little confused by your question, if your card on the back of your computer has VGA outputs only, like the blue one on the left, this won't help you. If your card has a blue and a white output (DVI) or two white outputs, this will let you use the white output with a VGA cord and monitor.
