Questions & Comments
PUK locked means pin unlock code. This special code is needed to unlock the cell phone if the wrong pin was entered three times in a row or if the SIM card was reported stolen. So some one probably forgot the pin and entered the wrong password 3 times. Awesome auction!
This is the iPhone 2nd generation first released in July 11, 2008 and it is 3G data. They came with 8gb or 16gb internal memory. 2 megapixel camera. WiFi capable. Multi-touch display and music player, full web-browser. A 3G SIM card is required to activate this phone.
And that's according to all the information that I have gathered. Now this is the only iPhone I have ever had possession of. So I am hoping whoever wins can get it connected properly. Are usually buy those cheap $50 phones LOL
It's not a password protection. As soon as you take it to AT&T or whoever can hook it up there supposed to be able to take off that screen or give you the PUK code. I reset the phone when I got it, because it had somebody else's information on it. After it was reset it show that screen. I'm not sure about that website Telstra.com. I've never been to it but somebody else had suggested to go to it. But as far as I know, as long as you take it to a company to get it connected it should work. Except for cricket because they do not use this kind of phone. But everything was working good before I reset it.
That's only on the 5 and up where you get a SIM card. With this phone it's a basically a hard reset. Call iPhone before auction end they will help you.
You can unlock it when plugged into computer with iTunes. My son did that when he got a pin locked phone. Took us a few tries but it works. Apple or carrier can assist you.
Yes that's true. I was trying to look it up myself a little. I guess when you get the phone activated thru a carrier they give you a new sims card, which, should be able to fix this one.
