Yes, it's a real marking. my husband worked at a pawn shops years ago and used to get that same stamp allll the time. 375 is the percentage of gold (roughly 37% = 9kt gold)

I have never seen gold marked like that.. I have seen 10 kt, 14 kt, 18 kt and then the rose gold but never these markings

I bought it in an Australia Jewellers. That's all I can tell you. I bought it in good faith. I've had it a few years now.
