Red Hot Poker is an easy to grow perenial that is sure to be the attention getter in your garden. The semi evergreen foliage is somewhat like Yucca, but much softer. In late spring-summer the flowerstalks emerage creating towers of red, orange, and yellow. The blooms attract hummingbirds. The foliage reaches a height of 18 inches but the flower spikes can reach up to 5 feet.

Grow in full sun and well drained soil. Extremely drought tolerant once established. Winter hardy to zone 5.

This auction is for 15 seeds, and they are small-ish. I purchased this seed from a grower on eBay.

I have grown this plant, but not from seed. I am trying that now with the other 1/2 of this pack of seeds. I did look it up on the internet before buying them, and they are reported to be relatively easy to grow from seed.
