If you compare the card to a real card from the same year or set that you know is real and this one feels different then thats a way you can tell if its fake, or if the card has any odd words spelled wrong or the energy signs are really off thats another way you can tell real from fake.

This card is real. A Pokemon card set called Legendary Collection came out in 2002. Every card in this set had a non-foil version and a foil version (what the Psyduck looks like). Source:

I recognized this card as a Legendary Collection card but went to Bulbapedia for more info.

Thanks for the information retropoke. I knew about the set, but have not gone into much of the collecting of that set to know that they had a holo and nonholo for each card.

yeah and from his pic of the back it's most certainly real fake cards have less detail in the top left and the center right

ya its real but it isnt a shiny shiny pokemon is an alternate colored pokemon this is just a reverse so if it is shiny psyduck it would be light blue intead if yellow
