ONE silver aluminum Pill Box Case Bottle Holder Container Key chain device.[like those pictured but in silver] It is a water proof carrying case for pills, notes, diabetic test strips, etc. It comes with a key ring,and can be used as such or can be removed and with an added chain or roping, can be worn around one's neck.

So an item you may need is always close. Even a loved ones lot of hair or ashes can be enclosed, so they are always with you. About 2 inches; 2.5 inches if you add in key chain link.
