Marked is a stamp found..inside of rings usually. If it says 9.25 It is silver..real silver. It may say Sterling Silver, or as in real gold it might say 14K or something else with a k behind it. Other things to look for is marked Siver plated...Just look for markings. People will ask alot if something is real siver or gold.
