It is just the black ink to refill the cartridge. This is what i use to refill my hp with, there is a needle on it that goes in the opening.

I was woundering if you have to have a special cartridge to beable to refill them or if you can use a regular cartridge i have started college at the University of Phonix and I go throught alot of black ink from printing different important information thanks fanned and will be watching. and hopefully bidding.

Take your cartridge real easy peel back the sticky paper & see if there are any holes in it. You can also look it up on google to see if your are refilable.

I thought you have to reset chips on these. Is it messy? Ink doesn't come out!
