A long-standing favourite for growing outside as it’s super reliable, performing well even in conditions that are less than perfect. It’s also an absolutely prolific cropper, producing dozens and dozens of heavy cylindrical fruits about 20cm long from late summer onwards. Robustly healthy, it shows some resistance to most diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus1.
