Vintage Heinz wooden music box.
This is from the H.J. Heinz Ketchup company, advertising memorabilia.
Has a blue velvet cover on the inside over 1/2 of the jewelry box.
Music box winds and plays like new.
It is playing "We've only just begun" by The Carpenters.
Measures approximately 6" x 3-1/2" x 3"
1960's collectible.
Very good condition.
"note" please look at the photos carefully. You can see a tiny gap, all around this box. I thought at first that it might be a defect of some kind, but I looked at pictures of similar boxes and they all have the same gap. This keeps the lid from closing but I think it was meant to be this way. You could put a latch on it but I hesitate to do anything to alter the original box. I can't find any of these little boxes for sale on the internet right now..making this a very rare collectible!
