The listing, Samsung NF310 10" Netbook - Check it Out!!! has ended.
This is my trusty little 10" netbook. I bought it because it is the smallest computer with a full size keyboard, which is great for typing on. It has a 6-7 hour battery life, and always lasts longer than it says it is going to. It has 2G of RAM, and does really well with processing just about everything I've thrown at it: playing games online, watching Netflix (though the screen is a bit small for this to be entirely comfortable), and writing papers for school.
It also has a little motivational sticker on it that I put on that says, "Whatever you think you are, you are more than that."
The reason I'm getting rid of it is pretty basic and won't affect everyone. When I first got it, it had a powerless sleep. Basically, I could put it to sleep for a week, and it would still have the same battery charge when I woke it up. Well, it's been dropped a few times, and I must have damaged a battery connection, because it drains pretty consistently while in sleep mode. This has left me several times with a dead computer come Monday in the middle of a class. If you don't mind keeping up on charging it, it has a great battery life if you're actually using it constantly. There are also a few scuff marks here and there (I'm not the kindest computer owner on earth, more through clumsiness than anything else).
So I'm getting a new netbook before the start of next quarter, and will send this one out as soon as the auction ends. It's a great little unit, but since I'm so forgetful on the charging issue, I need to get a new one.
I will reformat the drive, and wipe all my personal information and programs before sending it out. So it will be completely clean and ready to use. If you know a few things about computers, you might want to tweak it a bit, and will probably do a more thorough reformat, etc. than I. But it should be sufficient for the casual user (like me).
Good luck!
