You can still plant the 'expired' ones. The package may have past the date, but the seeds are still good as long as they've been kept dry. I have planted seeds that were 3 years old from the date on the package, they grew just fine. May cut down on germination ratio, but not all seeds sprout anyway. The seed companies don't throw away returned seeds, they get repackaged. I would buy the 'expired' seeds.
