FREE: Edward VII King & Emperor One Cent

Hi there! That coin is a "1904 Straits Settlement One Cent Coin". The coins country of origin is England. Its size is 29mm and its weight is 9.3 grams. The Straits Settlements were owned by Great Britain from 1826 to 1945. From 1826 to 1867 the settlements were under control of the British East India Company, and in 1867 became a crown colony under direct rule of England. The settlements consisted mainly of Malacca, Dinding, Penang, Labuan and Singapore. The colony was dissolved in 1946, following the Second World War. Expect for Singapore, the rest of the settlements became part of Malaysia. .... Very nice coin! I love collecting and learning new things about coins. I literally signed up with this site about 15 minutes ago, so I'm not quite sure how it works but I'll try keep on eye on this coin. Coincidentally, just last week I saw one and so luckily I knew information about because after seeing it I looked up info on the coin. Crazy coming across it here!
