This is made from hot pressed 24kt gold leaf; it's gold content is measured in micron layers. This particular note contains 5 micron layers of gold (and is single-sided (that is: the gold foil is hot-pressed onto a layer of clear plastic). The other gold note I have listed is twice as thick, and is double-sided (that is: one layer of 10 microns of gold foil on both sides, with the clear plastic sandwiched in the "center"), the latter (which comes with COA) having 4x the gold content (5:20 micron layers).
