Back again with my best auction yet... a highly sought-after Playstation 3 Metal Gear Solid Edition 80 Gig with a almost new DualShock 3 Wireless Controller and Need for Speed Underground game

This version of the Playstation is backward compatible with older games ... will play both PS3 and PS2 natively, and has had the overheating issue dealt with by replacing the substandard Sony thermal paste (which had a tendency to dry out after a few years) with Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste, one of the best available.

The picture on a HD television when this is hooked up thru a HDMI cable is simply stunning, the pictures I have posted do it no justice at all..

This of course has the Blu-Ray player and wireless antenna built-in, and every thing works flawlessly as it should, and used copies of this model still sell for over $325.00 on Amazon

I'm a little short on cash at the moment, so this will be my first auction with a shipping charge, but I'll go flat rate and split the differance... $10.00 is cheaper than it could be shipped anywhere so we will just have to go dutch on this one O.K.?

It has been disassembled in order to replace the aged Sony thermal paste with a high quality paste that will not dry out over time - this almost guarantees that this unit will never YLOD from overheating. It also runs quieter and cooler now... and has been cleaned and dusted while inside. The disassembly and reassembly of this item was done very methodically by a professional and now functions better than when it was first purchased.

There are several downloaded demos on the hard drive, and one full game of Burnout Paradise... I don't believe the game is actually linked to an account, and as long as you create another user profile` to link to PSN it should not affect the current games that are on the machine...
As far as the free shipping, mrtman34343 asked about bidding 54000 points and getting free shipping, so I guess that's the magic number, since I agreed to it - but we haven't reached that yet, so....

I'm pretty broke at the moment, and shipping for this is not going to be cheap, I'm going to have to scrape to come up with full shipping costs....

That auction that was pulled off was for the wireless controller battery that I have included on this auction, and had had no bids placed on it when I changed the listing... no one lost any credits for that...

Ok, thanks for the clarification. So what makes this an MSG edition other than the box said so...? Is there anything that makes it different externally. I'm not seeing anything in your pics but I may have missed something obvious.

For this model, the only thing externally that shows that it is a MGS version is the MS designation at the end of the serial number (which can be seen in the posted photos)
A little looking online will confirm this...
