Ex-library, with usual library markings, see the pictures; gorgeous illustrations; dust jacket is mylar covered only mildly worn, with top and base of spine bumped, as well as edges and corners bumped; this is a very scarce, important children's book; very scarce. So much for the collectors opinion of the condition of this book. It is an ex library edition but is in Near Fine condition except for that one detail. I don't think you can find many children's books that have been used in this condition. No writing, no fingerprints, no tears. I took good care of my books but they did not look as good as this one. I could not find any copies of this book available that were not ex library copies and none of them were this excellent. The hardcover under the dust jacket is spotless almost no wear,
