The listing, * Black Hollyhock seeds* Old time Black Beauty has ended.
Old Time * Black Beauty * hollyhock seeds , came from my own hollyhocks , they are so pretty & unique , I will send you approximately 50-75 seeds :) 2011 seeds
Not , But I will be more than happy to look them up on the internet & print you a page or 2 , I should be able to find some instructions on holly hocks :) , I have been growing these so long , I usually just seed the pods every yr. & give them away to friends , neighbors , family etc. I can tell you they are a Biennial *>> which means they dont bloom until the 2nd yr. & they come back every yr. , I always have to thin mine out every few yrs. , I have actually planted some seeds that bloom the first yr., they get up to 4-6 ft. tall & bloom all the way up the stock & the greenery is really pretty on them also , I Love all hollyhocks , they are an eyecatcher , these black ones in the sun sometime's throw a hint of Burgundy color on them . I also have Doubles* in all colors but I dont have that many seeds left , at the end of summer ,I will have a ton of DBLS seeds , I still have alot of Black left & i want to be generous when I send them to someone :)
They dont cost me anything , just a baggy & a few stamps , I no I sound stupid probably :) but really they produce so many seeds , I feel bad if the bid goes high because on my seeds , I dont make them . My vegetable garden feeds my tummy & my flower gardens feed my soul :)
I mix bags of cow manure in all my flower beds , but all my flower beds have been established for years , i use to be in the daylily business online , i had over 3 thousand varietys , I sold out to a company in AL , i still have about 100+ of different ones , I registered & cultivated one of my own , I named it * Question * you can find it & my name on the Daylily Data Base . But if you mix in some good dirt & manure and make sure it is turned over well , you should be able to grow Hollyhocks . Thank you for your Interest :)
