Hi! They are brass backing with a resin coating -. There's little pieces of glitter in the resin.

The story behind this pair of earrings is that they were once part of a much more ostentatious pair of earrings.

Each earring was a large disc with 3 long dangles - they seemed to be from the late 80s. I took all the pieces and created 4 PAIRs of earrings from the one pair.

Will include pictures - see images in auction.

I got the original pair of earrings from my neighbor's garage sale, who was selling off much of her mother's estate as her mother was moving into a retirement home.
