Hello and welcome to my listing! Up for grabs is a webcam that I purchased online about 3 years ago. Its works great! Only reason I am getting rid of it is because my husband and I just purchased new laptops that have webcams built in. I actually met my husband online (well actually we went to school together but that's a different story) and purchased this webcam to have video chats with him. I used it about 3 or 4 times then didn't need to anymore. So this puppy has plenty of life left in it! I tried to take as many photos as I could to get all the details in there. The webcam is fairly small and clips onto the top (or wherever else) of your laptop/computer screen or may be folded frontward and placed on a flat surface as pictured. It has a round type wheel button that you use to adjust the lighting. Sort of like a dimmer switch. The cam also has a microphone built into it. You plug the camera into your mic outlet spot on your pc. If you don't have a spot built into your pc to plug in the mic I'm not sure if it will work. The front part of the cam (the lens area) is where you adjust the zoom/picture. You turn it until you get your desired picture. The cam plugs into USB port and mic area (2 cords attached at the end). It will install on its own so there is no need for software or anything like that. I took pictures of it working and other detailed photos to the best of my photography abilities. btw it is USB 30.0 not 30 mega pixel. I copied it the exact same way it is listed from the site I bought it from. It is not my fault you took the information wrong.

they are not two different types of cameras. I have no idea what it does I just copied the camera information from the site where I bought it from. I do not know what any of it means. I did mess up on the title but I stated that. it's just a webcam!
