Description
The listing,
1943 Philadelphia mint Steel penny
has ended.
Up for grabs is a 1943 steel penny from the Philadelphia mint.
in 1943 pennies were made from steel in order to save copper for the war effort.
The images are from google as I do not have a camera, but my coins are in very nice condition. They are from circulation, but everything is clear.
They are a nice piece of history.

All 1943 steel pennies stick to magnets because they are steel... If i had one that *didn't* stick to a magnet, it would be copper, and would be on ebay for thousands of dollars, not listia for a few hundred credits lol. :D
