These plants are nice because they bloom in very early spring, before almost anything else.
These are generally sold as bulbs, but they can also be started from seed. Mine multiply that way every year. They take 2 years to bloom from seed, but then the plants last for many years. I collected these seeds from white and blue parent plants yesterday.

Thank you for supplying the link. Whenever I hear of a new plant, I want to check out whether it's good in my area. It looks like it's not as well adapted to my climate, but I'm bidding anyway. Can't resist blue flowers.
