I had originally purchased this brand new to scan pictures and organize them on DVDs on my XP based Computer. I barely used it since shortly afterwards, I ended up with a PC that has Vista on it. The Supported OS for this scanner are: Windows XP (minimum of SP 1) / 2000 / Me / 98

As you can see, it has everything you need: Software, manual, cables and templates and everything looks like new.

The 48-bit color Visioneer OneTouch 5820 USB scanner delivers outstanding image quality by recognizing over 28 trillion colors at 600x1200 dpi optical resolution. It has three convenient buttons that integrate with the ScanSoft PaperPort Deluxe software to make emailing, copying, and storing images and text effortless. Also includes ScanSoft TextBridge Pro OCR and MGI PhotoSuite III SE. PaperPort Deluxe automatically creates thumbnails of everything you scan and features drag-and-drop folders to keep them organized.
