Does work but needs work on it. As you can see in the photos the top plate of the iPod is missing. It can still be put on hold, just slide the switch. I took a photo of the damaged lcd screen when its on. Music plays but you can't read anything.

Again, this works the LCD screen is just broken, you can not see anything...

So, if you can get a LCD screen and put it in I imagine it would work just fine :)

Or if you don't mind not being able to see the song then this is for you .... I mean HEY you can't see what songs are on a shuffle either ... haha
