The listing, Vintage Mini Headress Beadwork has ended.

This is beadwork on large safety pins, folk art from the 60's. My neighbor gave this to me before she went to live with her son. She said it had been in her house since the 60's. These beads are quite large and it has four thingamabobs the feathers are supposed to hang from instead of two like most I've seen. Just add your own feathers and you're good to go. It is suspended from clear fishing line for wall hanging. It measures 5" x 5". It's in surprisingly good shape, the safety pins still shine. The only rust I see is the 4 connectors the thingamabobs are attached by.

how big is it? and is it meant to be worn or just for decoration?

It measures 5"x5". It can be worn or hung on the wall. It just needs feathers as they didn't survive the sands of time, it is from the 60's after all....but with new feathers on there it would be gorgeous. Imagine black crow feathers on there! I fanned you....
