Description

The listing, Dean Koontz-Odd Thomas (Paperback) has ended.

From the back cover: "Sometimes the silent souls who seek Odd out just want justice. Occasionally their otherworldly tips help him prevent a crime. But this time it's different. A stranger comes to Pico Mundo, accompanied by a horde of hyena-like shades who herald an imminent catastrophe. Aided by his soul mate, Stormy Llewellyn, and an unlikely community of allies that include the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Odd will race against time to thwart the gathering of evil. His account of these shattering hours, in which past and present, fate and destiny converge, is a testament by which to live----an unforgettable fable for our time destined to rank among Dean Koontz's most endearing works

It's got a few creases here and there but really it's just old. I'm only getting rid of it because I don't like this author. But a lot of people recommended the book, and it seems to be good to a lot of people.

I started to read it, but I just couldn't get into it. I like a couple other Dean Koontz books, but I'm more of a Stephan King girl haha

Oh yeah, his movies are great. The couple Koontz novels I did like however were (I cannot remember the name) but the one about the guy who is blind and has the black lab (it was based on real life people he knew), and the one about the little boy who was sick but could "see" things, and it started off with the guy who killed his girlfriend (he was like a sociopath) do you know which ones I mean?

Wow! If I didn't already own this book I would so be bidding on it, this is by far, in my opinion, the best little mini series that Dean Koontz has ever written, I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I fell in love with the characters. Would recommend this book to everyone! And you usually only like one or the other, Dean or Stephen, for me it's Dean, can't stand Stephen! LOL! To each their own! ~Charlotte
