Here is an old Holly Hobbie doll, you don't see these much anymore... This pretty doll has been stored in a plastic bag in a closet for many years... she is in excellent condition. no dirt or stains... no tears... she is the larger 15" doll . shes just adorable and waiting for you to adopt her. She is made by Knickerbocker which is a company that went out of business many years ago.
Questions & Comments
OMG..I had a Holly Hobby and heather Doll when I was a kid. I was talking about these dolls the other day and no one seemed to remember them! Love it! Watching and hopefully bidding! :-)
yeah these were popular in the 70's i think. i know i had her a long time and i will be auctioning another one with a green dress in an upcoming auction ... i don't know her name though i wonder if maybe its Heather??
Maybe. You should check out collector sites and see if these dolls are worth any money and then sell them..maybe? I have fond memories of my "Holly Hobby" "Heather" dolls! :-) I remember giving mine to a little girl who moved across the street from me. Her father was transferred to DC... So, I welcomed her to the neighborhood with my dolls!!
well, since shes already listed i don't think i can change it, but i will check some sites to see if i find out anything on my other doll i have. the other one is a little bigger even. i am keeping my smallest holly hobbie doll. how sweet you gave your neighbor one of your dolls, thats very generous as a child to do. i had more small ones but i really don't know what ever happened to them... :(
omg thankyou so much for the info. Wow she's pretty expensive.. that doesn't even include the shipping. wow. I still have some HH plates and statues i will keep some and share the rest sometime...
Amy wears a green dress. I have my original large Holly from the 70s, a large Heather I found at a thrift store, and an entire set of the 15 inch ones, including the brother and grandma. I bought the set on eBay several years ago and paid almost $80 for the seven of them.
sounds like you got a really good deal on ebay for all them. I haven't seen any HH items anywhere for years .... ebay is probably a good place to look for collectors. thanks for the comment
