The listing, Confederate Currency - Antiqued Reproductions Complete Set of 12 has ended.
Up for bid is a set of 12 (complete set A and set B – there were six in each set) reproductions of Confederate Currency. They actually look and feel old! The envelope they come in is somewhat tattered, but the bills are in great shape!
Majority of the bills measure approx. 3" x 6½", which I assume was the size they actually were when the Confederacy was in business. There are interesting facts about the money in the sets on the back of the envelope.
Set A includes: Virginia $100, Mississippi $100, Georgia $100 (note the excellent art work), Arkansas $1, North Carolina $1, and South Carolina Cotton Growers Association $5.
Set B includes: Confederate States of America $500, Texas $5, Tennessee Bank of Chattanooga $2, Louisiana $100, Florida $1, and Alabama $100.
These would be great for school kids to use with reports, good for scrapbooking or making ATC (artist trading cards). Could be framed and would look great in an antique shop setting! Lots of uses!
