Yes, I do believe the iPad2 would fit in this case. i did some measurements the iPad is 9.56 X 7.47 & the iPad 2 is 9.50 X 7.31. This case has 4 straps, 1 in each corner, and the measurements were accurate for both iPads. Thank you

Yes it is new, never used. My daughter bought it thinking it would fit with her NOOK but the Nook was too small. It does not have any rips, stains, holes etc....thank you :)
