this is called a THUNDER Vest and is great for hyperactive dogs, esp if they are afraid of storms. My 16 lbs has one and it has really helped him. This might be perfect as a second vest so I can wash one and he'd still have his security feeling.

Babies need a little time to realize they are not in danger so be patient with yours and let it adjust to his own pace. Mine came around after about 2 weeks to realize there was no boogie man under the hood and I am a safe driver. LOL ... he got to the point he wanted to kiss the drive-thru place's person who handed me bags of great smelling stuff.

Good advice. :) That’s is hilarious! He probably thinks It’s his treat for being a good boy. If it smells yummy, must be for him... hahahaha. Leo whines and whines and paces all over the car. It would be wonderful to have him relax and enjoy the ride.

Mine still won't try to hang his head out the window but we're making progress as he sits and watches me drive while talking himself silly. At least he's not howling nor crying now.

I should have measured my dog instead of guessing. Lol. I’ve always thought that any dog over 30-40 pounds would be a large and my 20lb dog would be a medium. Lol.

Great information to know. I had no clue this is what they are called. I’ve heard about harnesses that help pets with anxiety. My Leo isn’t afraid of storms, but has severe anxiety in a car. :/ I’ll definitely try this on him full time instead of just for walks. :)
