camera works well and shows some scratches on the case. battery door has a gap and does not close tight. can be held shut with tape. camera has viewfinder and can be used without screen to extend battery life. camera uses compact flash memory card and 3.7 volt cr-v3 lithium batteries, but can also be used with alkaline aa batteries. the cr-v3 batteries last longer and cost less in the long run.compact flash card and batteries are not included
