This Auction is for a Size 5 Celtic Irish Claddagh & Celtic Knotwork Stamped Sterling Silver Ring. (Make sure to look through all the pics to see stamp on the inside of the band) This is another original design and will arrive Brand New with Tags and in a Gift Box!

CLADDAGH: The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). Traditionally, if the ring is on the right hand with the heart facing outward and away from the body, this indicates that the person wearing the ring is not in any serious relationship, and may in fact be single and looking for a relationship: "their heart is open." When worn on the right hand but with the heart facing inward toward the body, this indicates the person wearing the ring is in a relationship, or that "someone has captured their heart".

The CELTIC KNOT WORK is without beginning or end and is thought to be representative of the Infinite nature of the Divine.

The design and customs associated with it originated in the Irish fishing village of Claddagh, located just outside the old city walls of Galway and was first produced in the 17th century.

Unfortunately on this design I was only able to make the smaller sizes. I can't make this EXACT design in a Size 10 but I do have other Claddagh ring designs in the larger sizes. I hope one of those will tickle your fancy. I appreciate and am honored by you liking this design. I am sorry that I can't oblige you on the size. You are so sweet! I am so glad that you Love it! Maybe over winter I can get another mold carved with this design in a larger size. (I do all my casting in the Spring and Fall and do molds and finishing work during the Winter and Summer when I can't be outside for very long) The largest size I got it to work in was a Size 7. Yes, Hubby and I do our own Silver Jewelry work. Sadly due to my Cancer I can only cast in the spring and early fall because I no longer have the ability to regulate my body temp. So What I have now is what I will have until Spring. I am sorry that I can't do it in another size. Those sizes have already been GINNED! I am still honored that you liked it enough to ask.
