Wow up for auction 2 antique horse hanes. Great primitive for display. Good chance the ball pieces on these hanes are brass but not for sure. Enjoy the auction. Buyer to pay actual shipping cost only. Estimate is $7.50 due to length and weight. Have fun.
Hi thanks for comments. Sorry I wished I had taken better pictures. Hanes were used on the horse collars when you hook up and drive a team of horses. A lot of times now you see these around a horse collar that has been made into a mirror. Cleaned up and sometimes painted these are pretty sharp hanging on the wall. Enjoy.
you really think you can ship for $7.50? is that both or each? I love these...they will look great in my tack room! Fanned and watching...you need to verify phone, something... and do you take pay pal for shipping? I also have an awesome collections of old horse bits...
Hi, I put the $7.50 as an estimate, Note I stated buyer to pay actual shipping cost only. I only charge what post office charges. I will see if I can find some horse bits, have lots of goodies to list with little time to do it. Thanks for checking.
I was thinking it might be more...some things are cost prohibitive due to shipping costs...and now they have all these new rules GRRRRR makes things harder!
the smaller the deminsions , the cheaper the postage a 4x5x36 is way cheaper than a 6x6x36, I ship walking sticks all the time and if you'll make your own box and packem tight you'll get by a lot cheaper I'll be watching these, it's getting harder to findem with the brass knobs on them
UPS is sometimes cheaper to ship too, but don't let THEM package it for you, they charge a FORTUNE. OH, and does a magnet stick to the balls on this? thanx
