Ikr, these are actually great, I bought 3 sets, gave one to my mother-in-law, now I'm the best daughter n law ever, lol and kept one for myself and they actually work with the vacuum method, especially on fresh fruit and vegetables

Most likely just the time frame of exposure, the vacuum thing keeps it fresher, I cut up some bananas one time just to test it and had them in there over a week and they never turned brown
