Hey all!

I have not been on Listia in nearly 2 years now. I see some things have changed. Like the devaluation of points! Was thinking I could still easily win an auction with my left over stash, but no such luck! I guess I could buy points, but really, what's the fun in that?!

I am in need of some points, and thought this would be a nice way to get back into the groove of things with a nice, easy gift card! I have done these types of auctions in the past, and have had a lot of fun.

I'll start this auction low - 1pt! Let's see how far this can go. 3 day auction.
Would prefer to send digitally, since it's quick and easy with little to no hassle...just how I like it! :)

welcome back. the devaluation in points happened when they started alowwing you to sell credits. it was an open market style thing and whoever had the lowest amount for credits sold 1st, so everyone was lowering the value to get theirs sold. finally Listia stepped in and capped it at 27500 credits = $1. i liked it better a few years back. anyways, good luck w/ your listing.

I totally missed when they allowed folks to sell credits for cash. Very interesting concept. I was looking back thru and one of the last listings I got (via GIN) before taking a 2 year hiatus, was a $50 gift card for only 255,555 credits. lol. Times have changed! :)

you can still sell credits, it is a link at top of page. yes it was a given back then that 1000 credits were = to $1. i got a brand new ps4 for 350,000 credits and a 1/2 carat diamond ring for 300,000 credits. that was the good old days.lol

true inflation is bad. Credits is worth nothing. It comes down to if you want an item pay anything for it. If you want a gift card why dont people pay 500k per dollar for it credits have no value because people have no limits. Great auction and this should do very good i know i am watching and bidding toward the end.
