The listing, Late 1800's Brass Combination Padlock has ended.
I do not have an exact date on this lock, but from researching and comparing similar locks and styles, this seems to be a late 1800;s combination padlock. I have the combination for the lock and the lock clicks like it wants to open but it does not open. Someone good with locks might be able to get it into working condition. I have not tried to force it open or anything.
This padlock is really cool. It's a "Master Special" by J.B.M.K.L. Lock Company. It's brass and has no numbers on it. You turn the dial starting with left and listen for the clicks. When you get to the amount of clicks left, you then go to the right, then back to the left again.
Great for someone that enjoys working with locks or just for decoration. It's definately an eye catcher and most likely nobody that sees it will have ever seen a lock like it.
