The onion house plant is a very neat plant. It "sheds" babies as you can see them clinging to the mother onion. They fall to the soil and root right where they land. All of the plants in this pot are from the mother plant I had for nearly 20 years before she left behind all her babies you see here. You will receive a fully rooted plant and 3 babies. They tend go grow at a normal pace, not slow or fast and they get very long and hang over the pot. Very hard to kill. I water my plants about every week or 2. It is in a south facing window so they take sun well. My plant is growing in regular potting soil.

Growth Requirements
It is generally a low-maintenance plant, and is best grown indoors in a sunny window or outdoors in an area that receives some afternoon shade. The plant does best if the soil is allowed to dry out completely between watering, and then watered thoroughly.
