It is edited by Bob Mankoff the present editor at the magazine

it is hardbound and is 12 inches X 9 1/2 inches and has a paper cover

it is 290 pages of nothing but cartoons from the New Yorker over the past 75 years and it was published in 1999

the opening words in this book are "to the constant commitment of the New Yorker to the ridiculous and sublime art form."

There are some great drawing from Chas Addams who the TV show The Addams family was created
