Yes in a way, but what they call NYLON, it gives a little especially if you got little ones hard on toys. Nylon is very hard to break. I used to work in several plastic molding shops and I was what you call a mixer/material handler for plastic machines like Little Tykes toys, etc.. Thank you for stopping by.

Well, everybody has their opinions, but I tested several of these with my Amish Neighbor kids for about 4 months now and only just a thin washer fell out of the little hole, but did not effect the overall use. Now this little girl gat mad at the toy because the glow stopped, she did not realize you had to keep putting it under lights to keep the glow effect...lol. BUT YES, NYLON holds up 99.9% better than plastic. But as always pending how they are assembled or how much virgin material they use in products determines the quality of the product.
