The listing, Vintage 1950's Gillette Razor. has ended.

Vintage 1950's Gillette Flair Tip Safety Razor. It has a few scratches and wear due to age. Everything works as it should. Please look at all pictures as they are part of the description. Please ask any questions as I am definitely not an expert on razors.

Is there a letter and a number on the bottom of the razor head? If so what is it?

Holding the razor upside down and looking at it...in one corner is REG.U.S. and one corner adjacent to that one is PAT. OFF. and below that is MADE IN USA and adjacent to that is the word GILLETTE with an arrow thru it and all of that is in a diamond shaped logo......and on the inside of the razor head in the middle and to the left is PAT.NOS. and to the right is ON PKG. and that is all that I see. What you have here is a Gillette Super Speed Flair Tip. They were made from 1954 to 1966.

Ok thank you for the info....I have ten more antique razors all of them gillette of different models...I am going to see how this on does and I might put them here on listia.
And I apologize for the low quality of the pics as I am in the process of getting a better camera....I am a newbie to selling and I am learning as I go.
