The listing, CD DVD RW Model TS L532U has ended.

This was in my Gateway laptop. It will fit many models and includes the bezel. It would only work on occassion then would only read some times then almost never. I would only consider this if you know how to referbish them.
IT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY.

I looked & looked & LOOKED all over the web for this thing & even though I found out it's info, I can't tell if the bugger is compatible with my damn laptop.

Hi Steve, I'm sorry, you sound frustrated. I don't know much about computers or parts. You did see that this needs referb right? It only worked some times. When I replaced mine in my Gateway, I went to ebay and read many of their auctions and finally found a seller who had a different model number but stated it would work with my computer and it did! I replaced it myself. I had to make sure it looked just like the one I took out and that the screw was in the same location. I tried to give good pictures so you can compair the structure. Go to or call a computer store and pick their brain. They may be able to help. If I do not have any bids yet, I can extend the auction if that would help. Thanks

Steve, also try enlarging the picture to see if you can get the numbers. I can read them from the origional pictures I took. If not, and you need better pictures,give me you email address and I'll mail them to you.
