No I don't think only IF it's Bluetooth enabled and has a mic then it should wrk but ur iPod don't have those then no it won't wrk I know bc I use to have that's a 2G and one that's an 4G there both broken screens so I gotta new one in White of course but I kinda DISLiKE it at times but ya mine is Bluetooth enabled and has a mic built rt in
