The listing, Animated Singing and Dancing Leprechaun has ended.
I’m hoping that the video that I took of this “lad” will help find him a new home. He measures 8” tall, 6” across at the widest point—from his shoes—and 3” inches from front to back. He wears a green glittery costume complete with buckled hat and buckled black shoes and along with his Irish smile carries his pot of gold and a shillelagh. He requires 3 AA batteries in order for him to twirl his shillelagh to the tune of “Believe me if all you endearing young charms” and dance and sing “Come on Eileen” in his falsetto voice. I’d originally purchased him for my workplace because I’d noticed how positively that people who suffered from dementia responded well to animated toys such as this...unfortunately I felt that the twirling shillelagh was a potential “no no” for them. For those of you who are reading this post, it’s quite likely that this may not be the case. I’ve tested the leprechaun with brand new batteries to check that he works and he does...you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver—which I’ve found in 99 cent and discount hardware stores—in order to open the compartment in order to put in the 3 AA batteries. Unfortunately I can’t provide the batteries because when it’s time to mail from the post office, there comes the flammables category which means considerably higher prices in shipping...that would mean I just couldn’t offer free shipping with this item. I do think that this is most definitely a great item worth considering..and do not hesitate if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
