This auction is for 30 seeds. Since the seeds are tiny, I will include a few extra seeds in case you drop a couple.

I bought a bulk package of Black Eyed Susan seeds from a commercial grower. It is much more than I can plant in my yard, so I am selling some extras. These are fresh seeds which I bought this spring.

Black-eyed Susans are flowering plants that grow over three feet tall. They have green leaves up to six inches long.

Black-eyed Susans grow in open woods, gardens, fields, and roadsides. They grow quickly in just about any kind of soil.

Black-eyed Susans are biennial, which means they live for two years. In the first year, the plant grows a rosette, which is a group of leaves growing from the center, low to the ground. In the second year, the plant sends up flower stalks. At the end of the second year, the plant dies.

Butterflies are attracted to Black Eyed Susans when they are planted together in a large color mass.

Black-eyed Susans bloom from June to October.

The Black-eyed Susan is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. Black-eyed Susans can be established, like most other wildflowers, simply by spreading seeds throughout a designated area. They are able to reseed themselves after the first season.
