There were two websites I looked at and according to them the Kindle 3 case should fit the Kindle fire. They said the Kindle Fire was a tad bit thicker than the Kindle 3 but depending on the material used in the case it should adapt to fit the Kindle Fire. This particular case is made of soft material that can stretch. So I want to say yes, this should fit a Kindle fire.
