I began making these caps when I was chemo-bald. More comfortable and lighter than a wig, but they made me smile when I looked in the mirror--something I badly needed! I wear them now on bad hair days. This one is a light weight one, great for summer. Fits average size head. Note: Colors are a lavenderish blue, blue, brown and silvery gray. US shipping included.

I hope she finds one. And if you don't get this one, I have another up in a few days. They certainly made me smile. In fact, I put one on every day BEFORE I looked in a mirror. They made other people smile, too. Only kids were blunt enough to say, "Lady, is that your real hair?" Especially when I wore the wilder ones. At that point, I explained about cancer and what chemo does to hair. They were great...although so were the people at my mom's nursing home. She bragged to everyone that her daughter could knit her own hair. So they are fun in a lot of ways.
