So how is this used?? I’ve never actually used an electric knife sharpener. Do you just run the knife a couple times on each slot?? Does it work good??

Yea. When my husband used it he just passed the blade through a couple times. I do have the instruction book with it. And it sharpened good just my husband wanted to make space on the kitchen counters and this is something he felt he didn’t need. I think he used it 2 maybe three times.
