The listing, Vintage Matchbox toys has ended.

to be honest, I do not anything about matchbox cars and/ or trains, or any of their collectibles, except that they are 30 plus years old and really cute.

there are 3 boxes in this listing and the years on them is 1976. The boxes are not in the greatest of condition, they are dented and show age and wear. I have tried my best to take pictures that will show that.

Not sure why the packaging would say 1976, but these vehicles were released in 1978. My copy of the 1978 Matchbox Collector's Catalog confirmed that they were late 1978 releases. As they beat the Lesney name, the latest they could have been released was 1982.

I did see the pictures of the copyright date on the packaging. What is the copyright date on the bottom of the vehicles?
